Jannet Terms of Service
Effective date: October 12, 2026
These terms govern the use of the Jannet app and its services ("Jannet") by SolveIT LLC ("SolveIT"), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. By creating an account or using Jannet you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy.
1. The service
Jannet records attendance (punches with GPS and, optionally, a selfie), hours, breaks, schedules per job site, alerts and reports for construction contractors and their subcontractors (workers). The Free plan (Quick Access) lets an independent worker track their own time. Jannet only records location inside each job site's work area and during the shift; it does not monitor locations outside the job sites. Jannet is a record-keeping tool: it does not decide wages or worker classification, and it does not replace any company's legal obligations.
2. Accounts and roles
- You sign in with your Google or Apple account. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
- There are two roles: the contractor, who creates and manages job sites, and the worker (subcontractor), who joins a contractor's job sites.
- The contractor is responsible for whom it approves on its job sites, the roles it gives its office staff, and for making sure its workers know their attendance is recorded with GPS inside the job site and, if enabled, a selfie, in compliance with the laws that apply to it (for example, notices and the labor rules of its state).
- A worker may join job sites from several contractors at once. Each contractor sees only its own job sites.
- A worker can leave a job site at any time from the app. Jannet stops measuring their time and location on that job site right away. To rejoin that job site they need the contractor's approval again.
3. Plans, payment and trial
- The Free plan (Quick Access) is free, with no time limit, for independent workers who track their own time.
- Owner, Team and Obra are billed to the contractor, monthly or yearly, at the prices published at solveitcompany.com/apps/jannet.
- Workers approved by a contractor do not pay to use Jannet on that contractor's job sites.
- Anyone who wants to create and manage their own job sites needs a paid plan.
- 14-day free trial on paid plans, no card. When it ends without payment, the contractor sees a notice and its workers keep clocking in for 7 more days; after that, management access is paused until payment. Nothing is deleted during that period.
- Payment happens on the web, never inside the app. Prices may change with 30 days' notice; a founder price agreed in writing does not change.
- Cancel anytime from the web. The plan runs until the end of the paid period; there are no partial refunds. After cancellation the contractor has 60 days to export its data before it is deleted.
- Implementation and training services are quoted separately and paid once.
4. Acceptable use
You may not: clock in for someone else or let someone clock in for you; use mock location, modified phones or any means to deceive the record; access data of contractors or people that is not yours; copy, resell or reverse engineer Jannet; or use it to monitor someone outside of their work. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
5. Data
- Each contractor owns the attendance data of its job sites; SolveIT processes it to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. Free plan data belongs to the worker.
- The contractor can export its data at any time (CSV).
- Selfies are deleted after 30 days. Punches and hours are kept as the contractor's payment records.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep Jannet available at all times but do not guarantee it will be free of interruptions. The app stores punches offline and uploads them later. We may change or improve features; updates install on their own. We will give notice before removing an important feature.
7. Limitation of liability
Jannet is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, SolveIT is not liable for indirect losses (payroll miscalculated from incorrect data, labor disputes, lost profits) and its total liability is limited to what the company paid in the 12 months before the claim. Companies are responsible for reviewing their reports before running payroll.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may close accounts that breach these terms, with notice except in cases of fraud or risk.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, USA. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Marion County, Indiana, unless the law where you live gives you another right.
